Advantages of tincure (condensationcure) moldmaking silicone

1. Sulfurcompatible, no cure inhibition

 Fully cures on sulfurcontaining clay and master models; no poisoning risk, which is the biggest advantage over platinumcure silicone.

Lower raw material cost, ideal for largevolume mold production.

3. Good flexibility & tear strength 

Delivers fine detail reproduction, easy demolding for concrete, resin, plaster and craft casting.

4. Wide formulation adjustability 

Hardness, viscosity and pot life can be tuned for different workshop operating habits.

5. Less sensitive to minor surface contaminants 

More forgiving of imperfect model surface preparation compared to additioncure silicone.

Limitation to note: It has higher shrinkage rate than platinumcure silicone, and cures by absorbing moisture from ambient air.
